5 MEDALS FOR ASWD AT SA JUNIOR TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPS
Herewith the results of the Athletics SWD athletes at this year’s SA Sub-Youth, Youth, Junior and U23 Track and Field Championships that was held in Bloemfontein from 9 to 11 April 2015: Sub Youth (15 years) Alberts Juanic Javelin Throw – 34.11m (15th) Botha Elmé Shot Put – 12.60 (7th) Hammer Throw – 35.66m (9th)
ASWD team to SA Junior Track and Field Championships

ASWD clubs receive Track and Field Equipment
Five clubs from Athletics SWD were identified to form part of the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS WC)’s three-year Club Development Program. Jo-Ané wen weer goud
Die 17 jarige, Jo-Ané Van Dyk, lid van Coastline Atletiekklub, het Sondag ‘n goue medalje vir Suid-Afrika by die CAA Afrika Junior Spele in Addis Ababa, Etiopië, gewen. Die atletieksensasie van die SWD het die titel gewen met ‘n skitterende afstand van 49,47m. Van Dyk het ook verlede jaar by dié Spele in Gaberone, Botswana,

JO-Ané VAN DYK ON HER WAY TO CHINA SASCOC recently announced their final youth team that will compete at the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China from 16 – 28 August 2014.
